Christine Marcin, COO of Modern Secretary is an Intuit Certified Pro Advisor and specializes in retail set-up using QuickBooks Point of Sale.  She has 20+ years of experience working with entrepreneurs on small business start-up projects, planning, management and adaptation to growth.  Christine has a passion for training and education, she has created countless training articles and videos customized to meet the needs of her clients and colleagues.  She is working on a Master’s Degree in Education, Leadership and Emerging Technologies and likes to spend her rare days off with family and friends – hiking, off-roading and riding her Pedego Electic bike.

Lisa Thayn

Lisa Thayn joined the Modern Secretary team in 2012 as the Chief Technical Officer. She is also the Web Design Specialist and backup support for the team. Her specialties are WordPress and POS Setup and Installation, and she has a knack for troubleshooting and researching software issues that sometimes arise for businesses.

Lisa brings to the team over 20 years experience in administration, office management, project management, and client services. Lisa lives in the mountains in Magalia, CA and is able to be “virtually anywhere” thanks to technology! In her personal time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her fiancé, 14 year old son, and 13 year old daughter.

Terese Thomas

Terese Thomas brings over 20 years of experience working for and with CPA’s. She is our in house QuickBooks guru and specializes in set up, account reconciliation, and problem solving. She helps people get the most out of QuickBooks without a lot of fuss or technical talk.

Terese works from North Las Vegas, Nevada, having moved from Orange County, CA in January of 2011. She loves numbers, so in her spare time she loves to play Keno!

Gina Avila is our dedicated Intuit Sales Manager for the West Coast Region. She works with us to manage and assist in sales activities for Modern Secretary. She handles many of our sales matters, and serves as our main support person from Intuit and QuickBooks, ensuring we have 100% customer satisfaction.

Jamie Delveccio

Jamie Delveccio is part of our Executive Management team at Intuit. She has over 8 years of experience at Intuit, both as a Business Product Consultant, as well as an Account Manager. She acts as our QuickBooks product expert, handles our order processing and fulfillment, and assists us with our marketing and company strategy.
