We’re here to help you add some more tools to your tool belt with today’s handy How To: Turn On Class Tracking in Enterprise.
Class tracking in Enterprise is actually a custom field, designed to let you track transactions by (for example) department or location. Here’s how to make sure the option is turned on in your software:
- Open [ENTERPRISE].
- Choose [EDIT], [PREFERENCES].
- In the left-hand column, select [ACCOUNTING].
- Choose the [COMPANY PREFERENCES] tab along the top.
- Under [CLASS], select the box that says [USE CLASS TRACKING FOR TRANSACTIONS].
- Click [OK].
If you want to help employees remember to choose classes for each transaction, select the [PROMPT TO ASSIGN CLASSES] before selecting [OK].
